The best way to save money, gain space and get some of the benefits of staying on Disney World property is to stay at one of the Disney World good neighbor resorts. Some “Good Neighbor” resorts offer all of the benefits of staying on Disney World property. Let’s talk about it!

Don’t We All Love Good Neighbors?
Disney has contracts with many popular hotel chains that are in close proximity or even on the Disney World property. These include Marriott, Wyndham, and Hilton just to name a few. In fact, the Marriott owned Swan and Dolphin hotels are on Disney property.
Both are also located within the coveted Epcot resort area. Moreover, the Swan, Swan Reserve and Dolphin hotels share the same boat transportation to Epcot and Hollywood Studios as Disney’s Yacht Club, Beach Club and Boardwalk Inn Resorts.

Lake Buena Vista Neighbors
The Good Neighbor hotels located at the Disney Springs area are within steps of the dining, shopping, and entertainment district. At the Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista Resort guests not only have a 5-minute walk into the Springs, but they are also a 15-minute stroll to Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa.
Best of all, these resort hotels can be booked as a Disney vacation package. Meaning you book a stay that includes your park tickets. As a result, guests receive many of the same benefits and perks as a Disney resort guests. Included in those perks are complimentary transportation to and from the theme parks, early theme park entry and for some, extra magic hours.

Savings on Disney World Good Neighbor Resorts
The Disney Good Neighbor resorts offer guests a vacation at Disney World with a lower price tag. Many compare to staying at a Disney value resort. You may get your dream vacation without draining your bank account!
Secondly, some Disney Good Neighbor Resorts offer even more amenities than others. The Drury Plaza Lake Buena Vista offers their guests free meals and snacks included.

Benefits of Disney World Good Neighbor Resorts
The Disney Good Neighbor resorts have many of the same amenities as Disney owned resorts. Some of the hotels also have theming that is perfect for those little ones (or big ones) who are fans of the mouse and his friends. Furthermore, some the hotels offer full gyms and even spas. I’m looking at you “B” Resort and Spa in Lake Buena Vista!

Perks of Disney World Good Neighbor Resorts
Some of the perks of staying on property also apply to guests of “good neighbor” hotels. Early theme park admission applies to some Good Neighbor Resort guests as well. As a guest, you get into the theme parks 30 minutes earlier than the general public. As a guest of any Deluxe equivalent Good Neighbor Resort, you can take advantage of extended evening hours in the park. Stay at select parks on select nights beyond park close.
Complimentary bus transportation to and from the parks is available for most “good neighbor” resorts. The buses will load and unload right outside of your hotel. The frequency of the bus transportation may vary per resort and won’t run as frequently as Disney transportation.
Staying at a Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel is a great way to save money. In some cases, you can gain some space, enjoy great amenities, and won’t lose important perks of staying on property.
