Meet Jessica

I’m Jessica Yashin, and I’m the person behind DizN with Jessica Yashin.

I’ve always believed that a great vacation isn’t about doing everything. It’s about doing the right things for you.

That might mean a first Disney World vacation with little ones, a long-awaited Disneyland trip, a Universal adventure with teenagers, a multigenerational getaway, a runDisney weekend, or simply a trip where you want to relax and enjoy yourself without constantly wondering if you’re missing something.

I’ve been on the guest side of these vacations plenty of times myself. I’ve experienced the resorts, restaurants, transportation, attractions, ticket options and all the little details that can make a big difference once you’re actually there. I’m also a Disney Annual Passholder and a longtime runDisney fan, so I understand that not every traveler wants the same vacation—or even travels the same way from one trip to the next.

Before travel planning became my second act, I spent 25 years as a registered nurse. That career taught me a lot about listening, paying attention to details, thinking ahead and staying calm when plans change. Honestly, those skills have turned out to be pretty useful in vacation planning, too.

My approach is simple: don’t pay for what you don’t need, and don’t compromise on what matters most to you.

I’m not here to sell you the most expensive resort, add every upgrade or fill your days with a never-ending itinerary. I’m here to listen to what you want from your vacation, help you understand your options and use my experience to make recommendations I would feel comfortable making for my own family.

And yes, I have opinions. Strong ones sometimes. 😉
But I’ll always explain the why behind my recommendations so you can make decisions that feel right for you.

My husband, KC, and I also share our own Disney and Universal adventures on KC’s Corner Views, where we talk about what we’re experiencing in the parks, what we love, what we’d skip—and occasionally what KC manages to turn into a photo opportunity.

Because I’m not just interested in planning vacations. I’m interested in helping you have the vacation that fits you.
