Best Breakfast at Disney World: Our Favorite Quick-Service Breakfasts in Every Park

One of the most common questions we hear from guests planning a Disney World vacation is:

“Where can we grab breakfast in the parks?”

The answer depends on which park you’re visiting.

While every Walt Disney World theme park offers somewhere to grab coffee and a quick bite, not all breakfast options are created equal. Some parks feature incredible bakeries and fresh pastries, while others are better suited for a quick stop before heading back to attractions.

Whether you’re rope dropping your favorite rides or taking a mid-morning break after your first Lightning Lane, here’s where we recommend grabbing breakfast in each Disney World park.

Best Breakfast at Magic Kingdom

For many guests, Magic Kingdom is where the magic begins! That often means arriving early to rope drop your favorite attractions. Focused on making the most of your lower morning wait times? Breakfast may not happen until after you’ve checked a few must-do rides off your list.

While Magic Kingdom isn’t known for having the largest selection of quick-service breakfast options, there are still several tasty spots. With a little planning, you can fuel up without missing too much of your valuable park time.

Our recommendations

  • Friar’s Nook (Fantasyland)
  • Sleepy Hollow (Liberty Square)
  • Main Street Bakery (Starbucks)
  • Gaston’s Tavern (Fantasyland)
  • Cheshire Café (Fantasyland)
  • Westward Ho (Frontierland)

Should You Leave Magic Kingdom for Breakfast?

If you’re looking for a more traditional or heartier breakfast, consider stepping outside Magic Kingdom. Head to one of the nearby Disney Resort hotels. Thanks to the convenient Resort Monorail, and other transportation including walking paths, it’s surprisingly easy to visit a neighboring resort.

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is home to Captain Cooks. There you’ll find generous breakfast platters, Mickey waffles, breakfast sandwiches, and island-inspired specialties. At Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Contempo Café offers a wide variety of hot breakfast entrées, and more. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa features Gasparilla Island Grill, a favorite for fresh breakfast sandwiches, Mickey waffles, and grab-and-go options.

Disney's Wilderness Lodge

If you’re willing to take a short boat ride, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is another excellent choice. Roaring Fork serves hearty breakfast bowls, waffles, breakfast sandwiches, and pastries in a cozy Pacific Northwest-inspired atmosphere.

While leaving the park may seem counterintuitive, it can be a relaxing way to enjoy a more substantial breakfast.
