Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, planning a relaxed resort day, or simply looking for a memorable breakfast before heading to the parks, this is one reservation worth considering.
Planning tip: Topolino’s Terrace is extremely popular, especially for character breakfast. Advance dining reservations are highly recommended and can be made 60 days before your visit.
A Beautiful Setting at Disney’s Riviera Resort
One of the first things you’ll notice about Topolino’s Terrace is the atmosphere.
Located on the top floor of Disney’s Riviera Resort, the restaurant feels like you’ve been transported to the European Riviera. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide breathtaking views of Walt Disney World, creating a dining experience that feels both sophisticated and welcoming.
The design is elegant without feeling overly formal, making it a wonderful choice for families, couples, and Disney fans of all ages.

Let’s talk about my favorite part of Topolino’s Terrace—the character breakfast!
Topolino’s Terrace offers one of the most unique character dining experiences at Walt Disney World. Guests are joined by Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Daisy Duck, all dressed in beautiful arts-inspired outfits.
Each character celebrates a different creative passion:
- Mickey Mouse — Painter
- Minnie Mouse — Poet
- Donald Duck — Sculptor
- Daisy Duck — Dancer
The character interactions were fun, relaxed, and full of personality. One thing I especially loved was how personalized the experience felt. Compared to some larger character dining locations, Topolino’s Terrace felt a little quieter and more intimate, allowing guests more time to enjoy their interactions and capture those special photos.
The Food: Breakfast Worth Waking Up For
While the characters are a huge draw, the food is what truly makes this experience stand out.
Topolino’s Terrace serves a breakfast menu that combines classic favorites with elevated flavors inspired by French and Italian cuisine.
Your meal begins with a basket of freshly baked pastries, including croissants, muffins, and Danish pastries served with delicious accompaniments like butter, honey, and house-made jam.
For your entrée, there are several fantastic options.
Sour Cream Waffles
The Sour Cream Waffles topped with roasted apples and Chantilly cream are a guest favorite for a reason. The combination of sweet toppings, fluffy waffles, and crispy bacon creates the perfect balance of flavors.
Wood-Fired Steak & Eggs
The Wood-Fired Steak & Eggs is another standout option. Served with polenta and your choice of eggs, this dish feels hearty and indulgent while still being beautifully prepared.
