Starters to Share

The meal begins with two starters. First up are the house-baked pull-apart rolls, served with guava butter and onion jam. They arrive warm, and the spreads strike a balance between sweet and savory.

Next comes the Spice Necklace Salad. This colorful starter includes fresh greens, tropical fruit, radish, spiced candied pumpkin seeds, and a tangy key lime dressing. Together, these dishes set a bright and tropical tone for the meal.

Caribbean-Inspired Entrées

The entrée platter is the star of the table. Guests are served four different proteins, each with distinct flavors:

  • Roasted chicken with Caribbean spices
  • Slow-cooked mojo pork
  • Chili-rubbed beef
  • Baked fish

This variety makes it easy to try a little bit of everything. It also ensures there’s something for different tastes at the table.

Flavorful Sides

Alongside the proteins come several sides. These include roasted plantains, cilantro rice and beans, and roasted vegetables.

The plantains add a sweet note, while the rice and beans bring comfort and familiarity. The roasted vegetables round out the meal with something hearty and fresh. Together, these sides complement the bold flavors of the main dishes.

Dessert: Coconut Pineapple Bread Pudding

The meal finishes with a single dessert, and it’s memorable. The coconut pineapple bread pudding is served warm with caramel sauce. It’s sweet, tropical, and satisfying without being too heavy.

For many guests, this dessert is the highlight of the entire dinner.

Enhancements and Beverage Options

In addition to the set menu, you can enhance your meal with add-ons like fried coconut shrimp or crab cakes. These are available for an extra charge.

The beverage menu is also worth noting. Specialty tropical cocktails, Caribbean rums, sangria, wine, beer, cider, and hard seltzers are all available. For those who prefer it, a full plant-based version of the menu is offered as well.

Atmosphere and Dining Experience

The setting at Sebastian’s Bistro is casual and inviting. With coastal décor and light Caribbean touches, the restaurant feels relaxed.

Because it sits along the waterfront at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, one of Disney’s moderate level resorts. It’s also easy to enjoy a stroll before or after your meal. This makes the evening feel like more than just dinner—it feels like an experience.

Final Thoughts and Review

Overall, we found Sebastian’s Bistro to have a lovely, casual atmosphere with great views and a warm, inviting environment. The house-baked pull-apart rolls with guava butter were a delightful surprise and a perfect way to start the meal.

Many of the dishes were flavorful. However, we felt the roasted chicken was a bit dry. Some menu items seemed to be cooked in bulk, which made the quality less consistent. That said, the pricing felt reasonable. The overall value was good. This is particularly true compared to some of the far more expensive dining options at Disney World.
