The 2027 Disney World Discounts at a Glance

Disney has released several ways to save on Walt Disney World vacations in early 2027, including up to 25% off select Disney Resort rooms for stays January 3 through April 29, up to $250 per night on select 4-night, 4-day room-and-ticket packages for stays January 3 through July 28, and additional savings for eligible Disney Visa Cardmembers and Annual Passholders. Disney Visa Cardmembers can save up to 30% on select stays, while Annual Passholders can save up to 35% on select rooms during qualifying dates. As always, availability, resort restrictions and eligible travel dates vary by offer, so it’s worth comparing the options before deciding which discount makes the most sense for your vacation.

Save up to 25% on Disney Resort Rooms

For guests booking a room-only stay, Disney is offering up to 25% off select rooms at Disney Resorts Collection hotels for select nights from January 3 through April 29, 2027. With different savings depending on the resort, room type, and travel dates, you’ll want to check the offer against the regular room rate before deciding whether it provides the best value for your trip.

Jessica’s Take: This is the offer I’ll be watching most closely for clients who already have a Disney World vacation planned—or who are just starting to plan one for early 2027.

Save up to $250 per Night on Select Vacation Packages

Planning a longer Disney World vacation? This offer can save guests up to $250 per night on select 4-night, 4-day room-and-ticket packages at Disney Resort hotels. The offer is available for select nights from January 3 through July 28, 2027, giving travelers some flexibility for winter, spring, and early summer trips.

Jessica’s Take: If you’re booking a package rather than a room-only stay, this is definitely an offer worth comparing with the other available discounts. The biggest savings don’t necessarily mean the biggest savings for your specific vacation.

Disney Visa Cardmember Discounts

Disney Visa Cardmembers have an additional opportunity to save up to 30% on select Disney Resort rooms, with special savings available for qualifying stays of five nights or longer during select January and February dates. This offer is also available for select nights through April 29, 2027.

Jessica’s Take: If you have an eligible Disney Visa Card, don’t assume the standard room discount is your best option. It’s worth comparing the offers based on your actual resort, dates, and length of stay.

Annual Passholder Discounts

Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can save up to 35% on select Disney Resort rooms during select nights from January 3 through April 29, 2027. As with the other offers, availability and the actual percentage savings vary by resort, room type, and travel dates.

Jessica’s Take: If you’re an Annual Passholder, this is one more reason to check your available offers before booking—or before assuming an existing reservation can’t be improved.

Which Offer Might Be Best for You?

This is where things get a little more interesting—and where simply choosing the discount with the biggest percentage can be misleading. The best offer is the one that provides the greatest savings for your specific vacation.

If you’re planning a longer Disney World vacation, the room-and-ticket package offering up to $250 per night in savings may be worth a close look. The offer is based on a 4-night, 4-day package, so families planning a longer stay and looking for both accommodations and theme park tickets may find that the package savings add up quickly.

For a shorter trip, a room-only discount may make more sense, particularly if you’re not looking to purchase a package or already have your park tickets. And if you’re a Disney Visa Cardmember or Annual Passholder, you’ll want to compare those offers against the standard room discount as well.

The bottom line? Run the numbers. Look at the total cost of your vacation under each applicable offer—not just the advertised percentage—and consider your resort, travel dates, length of stay, tickets, and what you actually need. Sometimes the offer that sounds like the biggest deal isn’t the one that saves your family the most.

That’s where having someone compare the options can really help. I’m happy to look at the numbers with you and help you understand which available offer makes the most sense for your vacation.

What I’d Look at Before Changing an Existing Reservation

Before changing an existing reservation to take advantage of a new discount, I’d look at more than just the percentage you’re saving. Compare the total cost of what you have now with the total cost under the new offer—and make sure you’re comparing the same vacation.

Does the new offer require a package or additional tickets? Are you changing your resort or room type? Are you paying for something you wouldn’t have purchased otherwise? Sometimes a discount can look great on paper but result in little—or even no—overall savings once everything is added up.

The goal isn’t simply to get a discount. It’s to get the best value for the vacation you actually want. Run the numbers, compare what you’re paying for, and make sure the change makes sense for your family before you switch.
