A Tapestry of Themes
Upon entering, visitors are greeted with the sights and sounds of the state. The park is divided into several themed lands, each offering its own distinct vibe and attractions.
Buena Vista Street



Buena Vista Street transports guests back to the 1920s. Stroll along the charming boulevard reminiscent of Walt Disney’s early years in California. This park is similar to Hollywood Studios in Disney World. From quaint shops to bustling cafes, Buena Vista Street sets the stage for the adventure that awaits.

Hollywood Land

Paying homage to the glitz and glamour of Tinseltown, Hollywood Land has guests stepping into the world of showbiz. Attractions such the interactive Animation Academy immerse guests in the magic of filmmaking and animation.
In Hollywood Land, film sets blend into the natural beauty of the park almost seamlessly. Yet, The Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sulley to the Rescue feels like joining the animated monster world.
Grizzly Peak



Inspired by California’s majestic wilderness, Grizzly Peak brings visitors to the rugged beauty of the state’s national parks. Here, guests can embark on a white-water rafting adventure on Grizzly River Run. Then, take a scenic flight over iconic landmarks on Soarin’ Around the World. This attraction can also be found at EPCOT in Disney World.
Disney’s Grand Californian Resort and Spa shares the theme of this land in the park. The private entrance for the resort is found in this land. Guests must have a valid resort stay at a Disneyland Resort hotel to use the private entrance.
Cars Land



Radiator Springs comes to life in this meticulously detailed land inspired by Disney and Pixar’s hit film, “Cars.” Take in the neon-lit streets of Route 66. Enjoy the thrilling twists and turns of Radiator Springs Racers. Guests in Cars Land can immerse themselves in the world of Lightning McQueen and his friends.
Avenger’s Campus

Avenger’s Campus is the most recent addition to Disney’s California Adventure Park. It beckons guests to witness the super skills of Marvel’s most famous heroes. At Avenger’s Campus you can save the world from a nanobot infestation with Peter Parker! Also, these Marvel heroes are out in force to greet visitors and super fans.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout and its drop ride technology will have you rockin’. Its soundtrack is half the fun! Save the Guardians from the Collector!
The entertainment, the unique food, and the characters in Avengers Campus help create an amazing space. Announcements at the D23 Expo 2024 included an expansion of Avengers Campus in DCA that will double its size. 2 new attractions are being added- Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab. Pixar Pier
Pixar Pier is a colorful tribute to the beloved characters and stories from Pixar Animation Studios. you are invited to jump into thrilling adventures and wacky escapades.



From the high-speed thrills of the Incredicoaster to the whimsical charm of Toy Story Midway Mania, there’s something for Pixar fans of all ages to enjoy. More importantly, take a spin on Pixar-Pal-Round Ferris wheel, the icon of the park.
The 2024 D23 Expo announcements also included a new Pixar’s “Coco” themed land including an attraction in Disney’s California Adventure Park.
Paradise Gardens Park

Along the picturesque shores of Paradise Bay, Paradise Gardens offers guests a tranquil place to relax and unwind. The Little Mermaid- Ariel’s Undersea Adventure (similar to Journey of the Little Mermaid in Magic Kingdom) is the backdrop attraction for beautiful bay views of Pixar Pier.
Captivating Entertainment
In addition to its attractions, Disney’s California Adventure Park has a great lineup of entertainment that delight guests throughout the day. From high-energy musical performances to spectacular nighttime spectaculars, there’s always something magical happening at the park.
World of Color– One

A mesmerizing nighttime extravaganza, World of Color-One combines water, light, music, and storytelling to create an unforgettable experience.
As fountains dance and images are projected onto a shimmering curtain of mist, guests are transported on a journey through the heartwarming stories and iconic moments of Disney animation. For reserved seating, reserve a World of Color Dessert Party experience. This exceptional magical experience puts you front and center as you dine on sweet and savory snacks and drinks.
The Amazing Spiderman
Multiple times a day, guests can watch the Amazing Spiderman perform a choreography of stunts in Avengers Campus. Plot twist, at times the performer is an advanced animatronic!
Celebrating California’s Cuisine
No visit to Disney’s California Adventure Park would be complete without indulging in the delectable array of dining options inspired by the diverse flavors of the Golden State. From gourmet cuisine to classic comfort food, there’s something to satisfy every palate.
Carthay Circle Restaurant

Step inside this elegant dining establishment inspired by the iconic Carthay Circle Theatre, where guests can enjoy California cuisine in a glamorous setting reminiscent of Hollywood’s golden age.
Lamplight Lounge
Located along the shores of Pixar Pier, the Lamplight Lounge offers guests a dining experience inspired by the creative spirit of Pixar Animation Studios. This full table service restaurant has innovative cocktails and shareable small plates that are the perfect highlight to relax and unwind after a day of adventure. (reservations recommended)
San Fransokyo
Cross the bridge to a treasure trove of fusion dishes and unique cuisine. There is no shortage of great dining opportunities at Disney California Adventure Park. This area is brimming with great food from many diverse quick service counters. Be aware mobile ordering is not offered at every eatery in the park. Due to the popularity, space can fill up in this section.



With a Bay Max inspired theme and a newly refurbished area, San Fransokyo will not disappoint your appetite. This area is full of various creative eateries ready to fill your order.
Disney’s California Adventure sits steps from Downtown Disney, the shopping and dining district at Disneyland Resort. Guests are merely a short walk away from various types of cuisine in this area.
