Universal Orlando Resort has reimagined a wonderful new area for the small ones in your travel group! DreamWorks Land will open this Summer (2024). It will take the place of Woody Woodpecker’s Kid’s Zone (beside Simpson’s Land and Central Park) at Universal Studios Florida.

Shrek
Shrek and his friends Donkey, Princess Fiona and more will host a swamp side meet and greet in this space. In addition, little ogres get a new play area built just for them!
A new experience inspired by Puss in Boots 2: The Last Wish will debut when the land opens. This kid friendly entertainment will be interactive with Mama Luna’s cats and maybe even Puss in Boots himself.
An interactive water feature joins the Shrek area at DreamWorks Land. Kids can “create their own melodious masterpiece” with interchanging frog chorus by stomping on lily pads.
Lastly, a new quick service food kiosk is planned with Shrek inspired snacks.
Trolls
Trolls Village will debut when the land opens in the Summer. Visitors will be greeted by a “magnificent fountain” featuring both Poppy and Branch. A second play area beneath a 20-foot mushroom will include climbing structures for even the smallest guests.
Don’t forget to hop on the “Caterbus”, a family-friendly trollcoaster! Then grab a sweet, one-of-a-kind ice cream from Trolls Treats. Universal is transforming Poppy’s Boombox into a fun new ice cream stand for everyone to enjoy.
Kung Fu Panda
Po’s Kung Fu Training Camp joins the area! This fun filled place has guests helping the Kung Fu team wash and dry their laundry. With both wet and dry play areas for littles, this place will delight the whole crowd.
Be digitally interactive with Dragon Warrior at a new meet and greet! It’s in the plan as well.
