EPCOT: A Park Transformed
First, EPCOT has been undergoing a transformation for several years, and 2025 will mark a significant milestone in its evolution. Primarily, new attractions like Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana have set the stage, but the coming year will introduce even more!
Space for the Icon of the Park
Next, one of the most buzz-worthy updates is the opening of the Spaceship Earth themed lounge in the summer of 2025. Finally, a space will celebrate the past and future of the iconic attraction and park icon. Meanwhile, it will overlook the NEW World Celebration, with lush green spaces and interactive elements.
And let’s not forget, the Spaceship Earth experience is all about the narrative and storytelling elements! This lounge will inspire dreamers for generations to come.
Testing a New Loop
Once again, Test Track presented by General Motors will re-emerge in late summer 2025 with a new theme and new features!
Animal Kingdom
The Arrival of Zootopia
For years, fans have speculated about a major addition to Animal Kingdom. Finally, it was announced that Zootopia– Better Zoogether, will open inside the theater of the Tree of Life in Winter of 2025.
This 4D show will bring the bustling city of Zootopia to life. Enjoy an all-new show with Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde and more!
Get That Dino in 2025
More importantly, guests are encouraged to enjoy Dinoland USA through 2025 before it becomes extinct. The new Tropical Americas themed land is slated to take its place (date TBD).
Magic Kingdom
Light Up the Night Parade
The night will once again come to “light” with a brand-new nighttime parade: Disney Starlight- Dream the Night Away! I’m feeling reminiscent of the beloved Electric Light Parade.
Opening summer of 2025, this parade will “light up the nights” at Magic Kingdom, celebrating characters like “Peter Pan”, “Encanto”, “Frozen”, “Moana” and more!
Swashbuckling Shenanigans
Adventureland is getting a new Pirates of the Caribbean themed tavern set to open in late 2025. This will be a first for Magic Kingdom! Why? The new tavern will be the first to serve alcohol outside of table service restaurants.
Hollywood Studios
Disney World in 2025 includes big things at Hollywood Studios.
A Little Mermaid Show
The Little Mermaid- A Musical Adventure will open this summer with live performers, puppets and more! This show is sure to get you singing along to your musical favorites of this beloved story.
Villains Take Over
Also debuting this summer, Disney Villains- Unfairly Ever After. This live show featuring Cruella de Vil, Hook and Maleficent along with other infamous Disney villains is said to be “full of humor and mischievous charm”.

A Fan Favorite Returns
One of the most popular experiences will return to Disney World in 2025- Disney After Dark! Select parks on select nights will offer the chance for guests to buy a separate ticket and enjoy the rides and attractions outside of normal operations.
Make a Splash
In 2025 guests staying at Disney owned resorts as well as The Swan, The Swan Reserve, The Dolphin and Shades of Green with get complimentary admission to one of the Water Parks on admission day. This is a unique opportunity to test the waters at either Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon.
