From the moment you lay eyes on the steampunk-inspired façade, you know you’re in for a unique and delightful dining experience.
The restaurant has a big personality, but is the food worth the hype and a dining experience? I’m sharing my recent experience at this table service restaurant listed as one of the top 5 dining experiences at Universal CityWalk.

Ambiance
The restaurant’s interior and exterior transport you to a fantastical world where Victorian-era industrialism meets Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory. Intricate details such as brass gears, cogs, and whimsical gadgets adorn the walls.
The fantastical fictional creator, Professor Doctor Penelope Tibeaux-Tinker Toothsome and her friend the animated robot Jacques, greet guests in an atmosphere that is both charming and slightly eccentric. The staff, dressed in period-appropriate attire, adds to the immersive experience, enhancing the overall ambiance.
Service
Service at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium is generally attentive and friendly, though peak times may lead to longer wait times. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and provided helpful recommendations.

However, the sheer popularity of the restaurant can make it a bustling environment, and the noise level can rise, making it a bit challenging to have a quiet conversation.
Menu
Toothsome Chocolate Emporium is heaven for those with a sweet tooth, offering an extensive menu of delectable desserts and savory delights. The chocolate-inspired creations are the stars of the show, ranging from artisanal milkshakes piled high with toppings to exquisite desserts like the Chocolate Almond Bread Pudding.
The savory menu is equally impressive, featuring a variety of dishes with a creative twist, such as the Bacon Mac ‘n Cheeseburger and the Herb-Crusted Salmon.
Food
The sweet creations at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium are nothing short of extraordinary. The decadent milkshakes are Instagram-worthy and, more importantly, incredibly delicious. The Peanut Indulgence milkshake, with its generous layers of peanut butter and chocolate goodness, is a must-try.
As for the savory dishes, the food was good! The options are plentiful. The star of the experience is the unique chocolate inspired cocktails and small plates along with the immense dessert options.
