The Top 5 Restaurants in Disney’s Magic Kingdom

Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is not only a land of fantasy and adventure. Transport yourself back to colonial America at Liberty Tree Tavern in Liberty Square. This table-service restaurant offers a family-style dining experience. The menu features traditional American fare, including roasted turkey, pot roast, and pork.

The rustic and welcoming ambiance, combined with the all-you-can-eat feast, makes it one of the favorite restaurants in Magic Kingdom among visitors.

The Plaza Restaurant

Entrée prices range between $20-$25.

Located at the end of Main Street USA with a beautiful view of Cinderella Castle is The Plaza Restaurant.  Here, guests can fill their souls with classic comfort food. the menu includes items such as meatloaf, pot roast and mashed potatoes. You can also order a burger, some fries, and a great milkshake.

The Plaza is one of the few restaurants in Magic Kingdom where adults can enjoy a specialty cocktail, beer, or wine with their meal.  In addition, it’s attached to Plaza Ice Cream.  So, enjoy your dinner, but leave room for dessert! 

 Be Our Guest Restaurant

($70/adult; $41/child)

Step into the grandeur of Beast’s castle at Be Our Guest Restaurant.  Located in Fantasyland, this place offers a unique dining experience inspired by Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.

Featuring three distinct dining rooms, including the iconic Ballroom with its shimmering chandelier. Guests can savor French-inspired cuisine for lunch and dinner.  Dining here is a prix fix character experience where guests can see the Beast strolling the rooms.

Your meal includes an appetizer, an entrée, and dessert (a delightful trio including the “grey stuff”). Plus, the price includes non-specialty beverages.  Adults can enjoy a glass of wine or beer (additional cost). The menu includes choices such as filet mignon, dry aged pork chop, roasted chicken as examples. 

Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen

Entree prices range from $28-$38 (Lunch and Dinner)

In the heart of Adventureland, Skipper Canteen offers explorers a refuge in a park seemingly full of similar choices. This table service restaurant’s menu will speak to the adventurous eaters. Here, guests can order off a secret menu (if you request!). You can choose to dine on dishes like curried vegetable stew, sustainable fish, the Nile Nellie’s Noodle Bowl and grilled steak. The menu is a combination of Asian, South American and African cuisine.

Skipper Canteen is a wild place to visit with decor directly from the Society of Explorers and Adventurers Club (S.E.A.). Take in the atmosphere and look around. You’re bound to find a hidden treasure or Easter egg that looks and sounds familiar. The ambiance and food make this one of the top 5 restaurants in Magic Kingdom!

The Crystal Palace

(Breakfast $48/adult; $30/child Lunch/Dinner $61/adult; $40/child)

In the heart of Main Street, U.S.A., The Crystal Palace is a Victorian-themed restaurant. It features character dining with Winnie the Pooh and friends. The buffet-style meal offers a variety of American dishes, from carved meats to fresh salads and a variety of desserts.

The bright and airy atmosphere, coupled with the whimsical characters, makes it a perfect family-friendly dining choice.  The price of your meal includes soft drinks and other non-specialty beverages.
