The Benefit of Mobile Order at Disney
Mobile ordering your food is very convenient and easy at the Disney Parks and resorts. Instead of standing in a line at food service locations, you simply order and pay for the food through the Disney app and pick it up when it’s ready.
Mobile order is available for most quick service locations at both the parks and Disney resorts. It is recommended that you place your order in advance of the time you would like to eat. I’ll discuss more on that below.
Step by Step Disney Mobile Order
Let’s dive into the steps you take and what you need to know about mobile ordering when you are on vacation at Disney World.
- Open the Disney World app on your device
- Click on the circled “+” sign at the bottom of the screen
- Click on the “order food” option
Depending on where you are, a screen will open showing the dining locations available to order food
- The dining location option will show pick up time windows to choose
- Click on “more times” to be given more options. Make your pickup time choice
- Click “order food”
- Choose your food from the menu window
- Select the quantity of each of your options and your sides if applicable
- Click “add”

- You can modify your order at this point of click “review my order”
- Choose your payment method. You can pay with a Disney gift card; with the credit card you have preloaded into your account or a different credit card- your choice.
- Click “purchase”
You Have a Mobile Order, What’s Next?
You will be notified by alert in the app when your pickup time window opens. What’s next?
- You will also be asked to let the food service location know when you are nearby so they can begin preparing your order.
- Once you alert them to do that, you will then be notified when your order is ready for pickup.
- There is a mobile order pickup window at each location.
Pick up your food, have a seat and enjoy!
Tips For the Best Mobile Order Experience
- Order food in advance of the time you want to eat. Why? Sometimes pickup windows aren’t available right away. If you wait until you’re hungry, you could get hangry waiting longer.
- Familiarize yourself with the process BEFORE you get to the parks. You can create orders without purchasing from anywhere
- Familiarize yourself with food service locations and menus before heading to the parks. If you already have an idea of what you want to eat you avoid being overwhelmed.
- You can place a mobile order from your resort quick service location. Wake up and order breakfast- it will be ready by the time you get there.
These are steps to mobile order at Disney parks and resorts. Important note: not all food service locations offer the option however, most do allow you to use mobile order to skip the line.
