Disneyland Hotel Review: High Key Club Lounge and Stay

As someone who travels often to Disney destinations, I love exploring new ways to make each vacation extra magical. Recently, I had the opportunity to stay club level at the Disneyland Hotel. DizN Vacations hosted the top agents in a spacious two-bedroom suite with concierge service. We also had exclusive access to the High Key Club Lounge (formerly the E-Ticket Lounge) in the Adventure Tower.

It was an experience that blended Disney nostalgia, comfort, convenience, and value. in a way that I can’t wait to share with you. Find more information on the Disneyland Resort hotels HERE.

A Lounge Full of Disney Magic

The Disneyland Hotel concierge lounge was a Disney fan’s dream. Beautifully themed with Mary Blair-inspired artistry, it carried a nostalgic feel. I was transported right back to the early days of Disney animation. There were nods to the sounds and charm of original Disney shorts, movies, and shows.

One of the highlights was the incredible views. With three walls of windows, the lounge offered sweeping sights of Downtown Disney, Disneyland Park, and Disney California Adventure. It was the perfect spot to relax and take in the atmosphere of the resort from above.

Dining Throughout the Day

The Disneyland Hotel club level lounge provided complimentary dining throughout the day. This is both a huge convenience and an excellent value.

  • Breakfast included options like biscuits and gravy, yogurt parfaits, fresh fruit, bagels, pastries, coffee, lattes, tea, and juices.
  • Lunch and dinner offered pulled pork, tea sandwiches, hummus with veggies, crudités, and other fresh, satisfying choices.
  • Beverages were plentiful with soft drinks, water, juices, wine, and beer always available.
  • To top it off, Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars and an assortment of desserts were served in the evenings.

One of my favorite moments was watching the Disneyland fireworks from the lounge. Guests could enjoy the view in comfort while the music from the show played inside. A truly magical way to end the night.

Convenience and Value

Since the Disneyland Resort is walkable, with the hotels, parks, and Downtown Disney all in close proximity, having access to the lounge made a noticeable difference. We could easily stop by for meals and snacks. This not only saves time but also helps avoid overspending on food in the parks and restaurants.

The additional cost for Disneyland Hotel club level access typically ranges from $250–$400 per night. Pricing depends on room category, travel dates, and party size. While that may sound like a splurge at first, in my experience, it’s actually a great value. If you consider the cost of meals and drinks for your group each day, the concierge lounge can more than pay for itself.

The Disneyland Hotel Experience

Of course, staying at the Disneyland Hotel is magical all on its own. The resort has a timeless charm with nods to classic Disney attractions like the Monorail Pool. It also features décor inspired by “it’s a small world” and the Mad Tea Party. More importantly, around the resort, you’ll find original photographs of Walt Disney himself at Disneyland in the 1950s.

Everywhere you look, there’s a touch of Disney history woven into a sleek, modern design. And I can’t say enough about the Cast Members! Their friendliness, attentiveness, and commitment to guest service elevated our stay from wonderful to unforgettable.

The hotel offers all levels of accommodations starting with standard 2 queen rooms. The recently built DVC Tower has studio, 1,2 and 3-bedroom villas complete with full kitchens, laundry and amazing views.

Final Thoughts

Staying club level at the Disneyland Hotel was a magical and worthwhile experience for me and my fellow DizN agents. From the food and drinks to the lounge views and personalized service, it offered the perfect balance of luxury and practicality.
